Update Globally Installed Packages with NPM and Yarn

The following commands will give you a list of the packages you have installed globally with NPM or Yarn and an option to update them.

NPM

First install npm-check globally

$ npm i npm-check -g

Then to list your globally installed packages

$ npm-check -gu

From there you can choose which packages you want to update

Yarn

Then to list your globally installed packages

$ yarn global upgrade-interactive

From there you can choose which packages you want to update

Note: You might need to run the commands with sudo if you are on a Mac.
